Jill’s Philosophy
Jill teaches her clients how to learn to fuel their body by optimizing the balance of carbohydrate, protein, and fat as well as keeping their metabolism strong with regular meals, and eating from true physiological hunger. Everyone has different genetics, metabolic needs and lifestyle behaviors. One program will not work for everyone. Therefore, having a healthcare professional such as a Registered Dietitian evaluate your specific needs can assist with meeting your health, weight, and exercise goals.

Jill has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University of New Mexico. She  received her Registration as a Dietitian in 1998 and became certified in Adult Weight Management by the American Dietetic Association in 2005. 
Her professional and personal passion lies with childhood and adult weight management and lifestyle behavior change.


Jill’s philosophy is to encourage whole, natural, functional foods while minimizing processed and artificial ingredients. She doesn't’t believe that ANY diets work. Many diets eliminate entire foods or food groups from your eating plan, thus depriving you of essential nutrients your body needs for health and energy. Diets are not designed to be a lifelong way of eating. Jill will personalize your meal planning sessions to your own lifestyle and sets small attainable goals for incremental changes.  Jill’s clients find success through adjusting their thinking towards food. Jill knows that only when you make peace with food can you begin to normalize your relationship with food.

Nutrition Counseling

During your initial session a customized nutrition plan is developed for you based on your health history, lifestyle and food preferences to guide you to your goals. Follow up sessions reinforce positive changes and continue your growth with education on dining out, cooking and grocery shopping.                          

($100.00 for an hour initial session, 30 minute follow up sessions for $50.00)



Grocery Store Tours

Go shopping with a food and nutrition expert.  Learn how to choose healthy options using food labels and ingredients lists.  Learn when to use convenience foods and when to splurge on higher priced items.  Discover healthy foods from each section of the supermarket to add to your diet.
