Programs and Services - Kidz Zone
The "Kid's Zone" located next to the tennis center, provides members/non-members and their children with a safe, secure, and professional approach to childcare while utilizing the club's services. In this nurturing environment we provide crafts, options for play inside and out, and encouragement to use their imaginations! We provide short term drop-in child care. Stop in and check it out. Monday - Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm
& 3:30-8:30pm
Fridays until 7:00pm
CLOSED WEEKDAYS
1:00pm-3:30pm
Saturday - 8:00am to 1:00pm
Sunday -2:00pm to 6:00pm
Cost to members:
$3.00/ hour for the first child and
$1.50 per hour for each sibling.
Child Care is a tenant service within Harbor Square Athletic Club. It is housed next to the Tennis Center, and is provided for the convenience of parents, guardians, and non-members while they are participating in HSAC programs.
Infants ~ Newborn through 12 months are accepted for a maximum of 1-1/2 hours. Reservations are required up to one week in advance. Call 425-778-3546 ext #113.
Children ~ Ages 1 year through 11 years old are accepted for a two hour limit. Reservations are not required.
Release Information
We will only release your child to the person who delivered him/her to the Child Care Center. If you wish to have someone else pick up your child, even the other parent, we will ask you to annotate the sign in sheet with the name of the person who will pick up the child. A parent or guardian must remain in the Club while their child is in Child Care. If you are involved in a program which requires you to leave the Club (e.g., walking or running), you will need to leave an emergency phone number where we can contact someone else for assistance with your child.
Marking Belongings
Please bring diapers and wipes if you anticipate that your child will need to be changed during their stay. Put your name on the diaper bag and label all bottles and lunch boxes. Please feed your child before you leave.
Behavioral Problems
Children with extreme behavioral problems are disruptive for the entire group. Regretfully we cannot accommodate such children. You will be paged in the Club and asked to remove your child if they become extremely disruptive. We reserve the right to refuse to admit repeatedly disruptive children.
Our Child Care personnel are anxious to accommodate you and your child.
Well Child Policy
For the rotection of other children as well as your own, please do not ask us to care for your child if he/she is ill.
Our personnel reserve the right to refuse admittance of any child who:
- hs a contagious disease
- is lethargic and cranky
- has had a fever within the last 24 hours
- has diarrhea or nausea
- has discharge from eyes, ears or profuse nasal discharge
If your child develops a contagious disease after a visit to HSAC Child Care, please report this to us so that we can notify other parents as a precaution.
Friday Nite Out!
The 3rd Friday of each month, we offer Friday Nite Out to HSAC members. This is a night out for parents! Drop your kids off at the Kids Zone and pick them up a few hours later. Your children will have a great time swimming, eating pizza, and participating in the special events that are organized by our FNO team.
The fun begins at 5:30 and goes until 10:00.
Sign-up begins the first Monday of every month. Either call the Kid Zone or let us know when you come in to workout.
Cost: $5.00 for the first child per hour and $2.00 for each additional child per hour.
If for some reason your child is not able to attend, 24 hour notice is required. A two hour fee will be charged to your account if notice is not given as we plan and purchase items based on sign-up.
