Regular one-on-one training is designed to get
you to your goals, and teach you professional
technique and use of the equipment.

 

Orientation Sessions:

With your Harbor Square membership you are given 2 session with a personal trainer.

These sessions are to help oriente you to our facility and all of the different programs available, and to set you up with a great workout routine.

These sessions are scheduled at the front desk, and should be used within the first year of your membership.

Meet our Personal Trainers

Megan Wood
Megan has worked with Harbor Square members since 1987 and is the current Fitness Director. Her background lies primarily in sports conditioning and rehabilitating. She worked with WSU sports teams throughout college and currently enjoys training individuals of all ability levels while make each workout fun.

ATC, NATA - Certified Athletic Trainer

Rachel Cramer
Rachael has been lifting weights since high school, and while playing volleyball at the colegete level developed a true love for staying healthy. She loves working with all types of people and has trained ages 10-84. Currently, she coaches both volleyball and track, at the jr. high and high school level, for Kings High School.

Education/Certification:
Certified Personal Trainer, and a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine


Dana Ferguson
Dana loves to stay in shape and teach others to love it also. She has been involved in soccer since the age of five all the way through college. Becoming a personal trainer just seemed right. Dana enjoys adding circuit training, plyometrics and unique exercise into her workouts. She is ready to show you the difference exercise can make in the quality of life.

Lauren Gardiner
Lauren's athletic background made her entry into health clubs a natural fit. She believes adherence to exercise requires varying routines, a desire to improve overall health and most importantly, fun. Lauren especially enjoys motivating people in strength and balance training, using free weights, stability balls and the BOSU Balance Trainer.

Saskia Inskip Gregory
Saskia entered the fitness world very early in life. A long-time gymnast, Tae Kwon Do practitioner and fitness enthusiast, Saskia has enjoyed working in athletic clubs since 1996. A certified trainer since 1997, Saksia provides guidance and motivation during all stages of life.

Teri Jones
Teri a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer. Teri brings a unique combination of her training expertise hat she uses to educate, motivate and support her clients in their quest for health and fitness. She loves working with all levels of fitness.

Peak Pilates Certification; ACE Certified Personal Trainer; BA in Exercise Science


Kevin Kleyla
Kevin has been working in the athletic club environments since 1995.Kevin's training specialty is sports performance, specifically in developing the fundamental framework that makes up an athlete. Kevin spent 2 1/2 years training under one of the world's top speed and conditioning coaches where he utilized his opportunity to train professional, Olympic, collegiate, high school and middle school athletes including one World Record holder.

Ruth Lee
Ruth Lee became a personal trainer after enjoying a successful decade of coaching basketball and soccer. She has experience working with every age group and would like to ensure everyone reaches their potential whether it be aging gracefully or succeeding in athletics.

An ACE certified personal trainer, Ruth currently personal trains, teaches circuit classes and coaches middle school basketball in the community. She believes that balance is critical to good fitness and passes her methods of core and stability training on to clients through an easy going, fun, professional style.

Ruth and her family live an active lifestyle, including three daughters involved in high school and college sports. Ruth and her husband Tom love hiking, playing soccer and golf, and can often be spotted exercising at HSAC.

Peggy McCartney
Multi-skilled as a Registered Nurse and Personal Trainer, Peggy looks forward to working with all age groups and ability levels. She enjoys empowering each client to new levels of fitness and self esteem.

Laura Philibrick
Laura became a personal trainer because she enjoys helping people of all ages and fitness abilities improve their overall health and well being through exercise. Laura's turn to personal training developed from her early start as a dancer and skater. Her goal is to inspire and motivate other through a custom fit regimen for each client's lifestyle and needs, specializing in senior fitness.

Patty Reed
Patty has been involved in the fitness industry for about 20 years, both as a group fitness instructor and a personal trainer. She believes that everyone has the ability to be healthier, and incorporates strength, flexibility, and core training in her programs. She treats each person as an individual, with unique needs and attempts to structure their programs around their learning styles.

Shiva Riddell
Shiva designs truly personalized training programs for each of her clients. She accomplished this by means of a systematic and comprehensive approach, a by product of her education and her passion for fitness. Shiva believes fitness training is an investment in good heath, athletic ability and great form. Her friendly and positive attitude is motivation to her clients.

Becky Shrader
Becky has successfully completed 500 hours of education and physical training ad the National Personnel Training Institute. She keeps her clients energized, motivated and dedicated with a variety of new programs.

Lisa Walker
Lisa is a USA Triathlon coach since 2004 and a USA Cycling level III coach since 2007
And coached the Starbucks Corporate tri team from 2004-2007
Lisa has been involved in triathlon since 1996 after taking many years off from a successful competitive swimming career. 

Some career highlights:  Danskin Seattle 2004 Champ & Kirkland 2004 female winner, 4 time Ironman including age group win Ironman Coeur D’Alene, and competed in Ironman World Championships in Hawaii 2006 where she qualified for the Boston Marathon (after 2.4 mi swim & 112 mi bike!). Lisa is a USA Triathlon All American and one of the first swimmers out of the water … Since she has excelled at all distances she will be able to help you attain your triathlon goals

Rod Wilcox

Rod holds a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology and has been training at Harbor Square since 1992. His passion has always been the sport of Track & Field, an area in which he competes (6 national titles) and coaches (14 state championships). Rod likes working with people of all ages and ability levels in an effort to help them feel younger, healthier and more athletic.

Cindy Williamson
Cindy has worked with Harbor Square members since 1990. She motivates her clients with a balance of hard work and humor, and enjoys seeing the new level of confidence that develops in her students after they begin to exercise.
